Winter/Spring bulbs
Hello
I know that we are in full summer flow but I am planning ahead for next season and I wondered if anyone could recommend a reasonably priced online source? Or am I just as well using a local garden centre/DIY store?
I'm aware the bulbs won't arrive until much later in the year but having looked through the T&M catalogue I am keen to start at least window shopping

They normally arrive in Garden Centres around August time and this would be the best time for you to buy them as they've fresh from the suppliers (if you leave them any much later than a month or two, the heat and the lighting levels in shops/GCs tend to accelerate the bulbs either to dry up or throw up immature shoots). Sometimes, you can buy them singly or in buckets, and you can choose the biggest and the healthiest of the bunch. I buy mine from http://www.peternyssen.com/ which is the cheapest and the best so far for me...0

In our last garden I planted spring bulbs that I bought in packs from poundland - a mixture of crocus, daffodils & snowdrops. They were a great bargain and came up like clockwork to cheer us up every spring for the five years that we lived there....0
