Ring them and ask to leave...you have to give 30 days notice...they will either a) offer you a better deal than what you have at present, or b)continue to accept your termination.

Then after about 2weeks, you will receive a call and be offered a better deal...there is a thread on here somewhere about it. Look it up:)

took up this offer too, my direct debit came off today £20.90 more than it normally is, when i called to take up the offer the guy on the phone assured me he had credited my sky account to make it free, when i've called today to check wot their playing it iv'e been told the offer hasn't worked and now have apparently been credited for next month, more hassle than its worth i'm pretty sure come next month i'll have to call them again, not happy at all

im not eligable for this, all i get is £5 off if i take the two movie channels!

Wow, what a relief.

My recent bill was £54.... a little higher then the normal £30 something. Although the checkout didn't mention a price increase for sky movies, apparently the offer didn't go through (found out after emailing them and pretty much saying im screwed). Probably due to me not recieving the letter.

Just phoned up and the nice lady, instead of saying there is nothing they can do and telling me i'll have to wait 31 days for movies to cancel, sending me into a fit of rage, having a shouting match and saying some bad words, said they will adjust my next bill to deduct the extra money we paid and will cancel movies straight away. Not too bad. I spose half a month of free movies is better then no free movies. Just a shame I'll be losing my yet to watch recorded films in HD.

If anyone else has this problem and wants to phone, the free number is 0800 0466434 and available 24/7. Make sure you get to channel downgrade. Worked for me.
