An awful lot of contracts have flaws in them which could make them unenforceable - for most it's not worth pursuing because proper legal advice can be expensive and there's always a risk you'll end up in a deeper hole, but with so much money at stake I'd be willing to risk a bit more money to pay for initial advice of a good solicitor (with experience of consumer contracts, don't just go to Joe Bloggs who has an office down the road!).Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
What equity do you own ? house, other car, property.
This is not small claim court stuff here, this is big baldy men with vans bailiff court stuff.
I would use your free hour at a solicitors wisely and then pay to have the contract read.
If its £500 to have it taxed (read) and they pull a thread out it is worth it.
Look for a good specialist contract solicitor, preferable before Lombard do.
Based on your equity levels, bankruptcy may be your only option.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Does anybody know of a good solisitor in the Leicester area?0

I imagine to get that kind of finance and car in the first place you must be a high income earner.
Any chance of offering a montly repayment to them or remortgaging the house to pay them off?
This type of money they would probably bankrupt you for so it is in your interest to pay them off by any means possibleI am a Mortgage Adviser
