The show must go on?

I have just heard that Take That have cancelled the first tour in their history as Robbie had food poisoning on Friday, and was unable to perform last night. A heartfelt apology was issued to disappointed fans in Denmark.
Given that there were 4 fully functioning members of the group, who have perfomed w/o The Robster for years, was the cancellation reasonable, or should the show have been performed anyway with other members covering for Robbie? They are after all competent singers / dancers / all round entertainers and hardly lack familiarity with the material.
What whould you have preferred if you had a ticket for last night's performance? Should the show have gone on?

I'd be equally happy to see TT without Robbie but I guess they(organisers) would've got showered with complaints like "we only bought tickets to see Robbie" if they went ahead. This way they can just refund and be done with it.0

But rather a shame for anyone who went to the trouble of going to Denmark for the gig.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
