Payday Loan Problem

Hi all,
Am new to the forum, so hello to everyone. I have a problem with a payday loan company.
Original loan was £200, I defaulted on the loan and agreed to a repayment plan. Repayment plan was 2 x £150 payments (inc default charges), I made the first repayment then not the 2nd.
I then had a CCJ served on me, I was stupid enough to think it would go away and it hasn't, I couldn't really get my head around all the additional charges, anyway the creditor still keeps getting in touch with me asking to set up a repayment plan, after several emails to the creditor asking for the original agreement and also the breakdown of charges he just keeps saying setup a plan, setup a plan. He has now finally given me a figure of £1059.47 from a loan of £200 of which £150 was paid. I still haven't received anything from the court saying I have now got the CCJ against me, and have told the creditor I would be happy to set up a repayment plan but not for £1059.47, is it just me or is that a completely unreasonable amount after the initial loan?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
Matt

Okay, how do you know you have a CCJ? You would have been served and asked to attend court, if this did not happen then it sounds like the company is BS'ing you!
Email them, offer them the original £150 and you will pay over two installments if necessary, see what happens from then onwards.29th June -Beginning Credit Score 422
£2575
12th July - Credit score 471
22nd August - Credit Score 550
Still very poor just but only just!
Remaining to pay off: £1370.950 -
Hi there, thanks for getting back to me. I did receive a letter after submitting my defence online, the letter was an 'allocation questionaire' however, I was away on business when I received this and couldn't respond in time. The guy has been telling me for a week he has now got a CCJ against me but I still haven't received anything to this effect from the court?0

Sounds like the may of got a ccj against you, which would have costs etc ontopDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

You shouldn't have a CCJ yet. If you submitted a defence and then an allocation questionnaire, and heard nothing since, then a CCJ shouldn't have been made. As you put in a defence a default judgement cannot be made, so you shouldn't just "end up" with a CCJ without a hearing or notice of it.
Sounds very much like the company is trying to bull**** payments from you. Quite possibly lumping on interest/changes and additional costs that they might not be able to justify if they actually continue the CCJ process to a full hearing.
If in doubt, contact the court to see where the CCJ is at. You will have a claim reference number, so they should be able to tell you.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
