Car finance with Fiat
I have today been to see FIAT about getting a car on finance. Not sure if this counts as a loan question sorry!
I'm 20, a student and living at home and i don't pay any rent (My mum is kind enough even though i have offered!)
I pay a monthly phone bill each month and without fail well it's two contracts really as i pay my brothers on my name.
As i know the finance company check credit ratings etc i have no idea if i have a good one as i don't have a credit card nor do i ever intend to have one in my life they cause problems and my other half pays my car insurance for me that i have on my car now which is on it's way out so really i guess they only have my payments of phonebills to go off.
I earn at least 1,000 a month from working 2 jobs but i doubt they take that in to account one i get paid cash in hand.
Anybody recon i'll have any luck? With the current climate i can't see it happening but i'm hoping!
Thanks

A lot will ask for a gurantor or wage slips, so you can only state what you prove you recieveDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I wouldn't crow on about that "cash in hand" job unless you want a visit from HMRC, they are checking credit ratings companies now to find people who are living beyond their obvious means."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

errr, you make £1k a month, pay no rent or car insurance and have no outgoings except a mobile phone bill. Surely in a few months you could SAVE enough to buy a car?!DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

Or save for that "unexpected" tax bill :rotfl:"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
