Drinkstuff do this for £34.13 including 8 extra packs of cards and delivery (slightly different chips)

Considering I've never heard of this company and I've heard of DrinkStuff/Barmans LTD then I know where I'd rather go...

Similar packages were available for around £40 (RRP) last year and around £20 in a biscuit tin (a tenner in the sales), dunno where they get the £100 retail.

How many chips did yours have in it though? There seem to be 200 chip sets at Homebase for £15. But the 500 chip sets are £40. This is a good deal from garyparson.
  • Review on amazon of this set. Selling for £40 new and used. It seems that what makes this set worth £100 is the quality of the chips. I think you'll find that all of the other poker sets, while being acceptable, are no where near as good as CQ Poker chips.

I bought the same set in Woollies y.day for £19.99.

Only difference is the chips are not numbered...

    Were the chips 11g?

There is a huge difference in quality and feel between lightweight chips and the 'pro' ones.

I reckon £19.99 is a cracking price for this set....although the original MRP is pie in the sky (as is their Golf equipment MRP's!)
