If you post a statement of income/outgoings on here or better still the debt-free wannabe board (there is a template around here somewhere, probably on a sticky post at the top of DFW), it will help to make sense of your whole position, and people can help make suggestions on where you can make economies - sometimes quite surprising ones! It is a good thing to do, as it gives you a bit of a mirror, and helps you take stock, and take control of the situation, which leaves you feeling better about the future prospects
It is great to hear you want to get it all sorted, and the DFW guys have all been there or are sorting themselves out, you'll get so much support!! 0 -
support not judgement!!!!!!
i have posted on DFW and am going to try for a statement if i can do a "sticky"0 -
Still not managed a"sticky" but have done a SOA but don't feel it was accurate so im reviewing it to ensure everything there.
I did some cc debt juggling with my existing cc to a 6 month deal then sods law get two new cards. One with a18month and one with 5.9%. For life of balance. Soooooooo
I'm thinking overdraft on to life time one. And make a determined effort to clear others before deals run out !!!!
Will be hard work but I'm determined to do it0 -
Don't worry, stickies are done by moderators and are for general things like links to the SOA template, you just do a normal post and the guys on the DFW board will all pipe in with ideas. They are a very friendly lot, here is a bit more loans-oriented, so there is the most supportive place to post it
Good luck, I hope they have some good ideas for you...you will soon find your situation is not unusual over there, so much support!! 0
