£80 petrol vouchers

Options
I received a letter through the post from sentinel card protection (I am one of their customers) offering me £80 (4x£20) in petrol vouchers for trying out the "Leisure Time Discounts Programme". I can apply and cancel within the first 30 days at no cost, they state that the petrol vouchers are mine to keep even if I cancel my membership to the Discounts Programme. From what I understood you have to send your petrol purchase proof with a voucher and you can use 1 £20 per quarter, to claim £20.

Has anyone heard of this? Is this a scam? I'm tempted to go for it and cancel it before the 30 days are up just to get the petrol vouchers, after all it is £80! Just wondering if they will honour the vouchers if I cancel?

Anyone done this before? Has Martin mentioned this on any of his emails?
Or worse... has watchdog mentioned this?

Thank you for any feedback!

The offer is NOT for card protection, they are offering something else, a discount programme which you can sign on to and cancel within 30 days, but you get to keep the petrol vouchers and claim 4x£20. Basically it seems to be £80 of petrol free, I'm just wondering if this is too good to be true!?

Barclays include it as part of the pay monthly current account but it appears they removed the brand and call it barclay card protection now. It was listed for years. They value it at £20 too :P

What I am talking about is not Card Protection, I already have card protection. This is something else they are offering me, The offer is NOT for card protection, they are offering something else, a discount programme which you can sign on to and cancel within 30 days, but you get to keep the petrol vouchers and claim 4x£20. Sorry Annando I was replying to poppycat who may be wondering how mature this company was, hence the quote.
