Cup cake recipe baked in a loaf tin?
Anything I would need to alter?
I guess bake for longer, due to mass.
Anything else?

I wouldn't think so MrsE as it's just like using the mix for victoria sponge - only in a loaf shape. What has you making it like that? Sounds lovely. I'm wondering how tall you could make it and if it would hold ok?I can't see why not but then im no expert!:p
This thread on scaling cakes recipes up and down may help
if i was doing it i would just do everything the same only extend the cooking time of course - but i would of course be guessing!!!! i would then cross my fingers and hope for the best. I would use a skewer to check when it was cooked.
let us know how it goes and ill merge this later on
ZipA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I bought the book & I want to make a cake to take to a party & I thought the loaf shape the easiest to transport.
