Off topic (sorry) but when did it start to cost so much just to be a guest at a wedding???:( We went to one a few months ago--family, couldn't miss it--and I think just going(not including present and clothes) must have cost the best part of £300!!!
Well we did it cheap, I don't have shirts so I splashed out on a nice 100% cotton jobby (£12.50) and a tie (£3), the wife got a lovely new dress though which was £65! We didn't stay over as it was only 2 hours away, but it cost £50 in fuel, that meant I didn't drink (100% free bar as well
) and DW was sick in the car on the way home - yay.
Presents were only £15 in the end, and we got my father in law to look after the dogs.
Still, it's £150 we don't have.Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!
C'MON! Let's get this debt sorted!!0
