you try your best to clean up your accounts and even having on time payments to the account for the past 3 years they still kick you when you are down.

Yep.. because technically you're not making the contracted minimum payments so even though you're paying what they've agreed to under your DMP, you're defaulting on your original contract so they're within their rights to place a default on your credit history.
Stinks doesn't it.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

as immoral angel says you havent kept to the original agreement to pay X each month so they have the right to make it known that you havent paid them agreed amount. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Just to clarify.
Each month you creditor is not placing a new 'Default Notice' on your account.
You will only ever receive one Default Notice per account, and they will clear from your credit file six years from the date they were issued.
What you see on your credit file is just the creditor each month saying that your still in default (D) of your account. So until the debt is cleared, that is what will be marked next to the debt.
Of course when you settle or clear the debt, then the Default will be marked as Settled (S).0 -
Thanks for that!
Just seen all the D's in a black circle thought they where new ones has they are dated!
Undertand now.
Thank you!
Regards

This probably a VER VERY stupid question given the name of the website, but how often can you view your credit report on the site?No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

no idea what my nerdnumber is - i am now officially nerd 229, no idea on my debt free date0 -
Hi Oscar
I 'think' that you are allowed to view it free for 1 month, then you wait 12 months for your next 'free' month.
I paid £1.77 for instant access.
It does give me an option for montly payment if I wish.(permanent access)
I just wanted to know what is being said about me, found it very interesting and spot on.
If you do not want to pay £1.77 they will post you a password for free. takes 3 working days, then you can look at your report.
