Hi
Long story... On a dmp with cccs and owe £9200 still from an £18 k loan with santander.
They never respond to any of my queries or complaints, it's like I don't exist.
I am currently filling out a complaint to FOS as they won't explain the charges they keep adding.
They haven't sold debt on because, according to the girl on the phone, I have been paying such a lot towards it each month they're better keeping it inhouse.
My circumstances have got worse and I can only afford £13 per month compared to £201 I have been paying for the last 3 years.
I wrote to them as a ditch attempt to offer £4000 as full and final settlement as my godfather said he'd help out if that was the end of the matter.
I just got a letter from Westcott - first response ever - saying that they refuse my offer and that santander have no obligation to accept anything less than the full amount.
What should I do next?
I s there any point in offering again?
Should I wait until debt is sold on before offering again?
