the goody bags weren't left out - they were behind the pharmacy counter where the quit packs were! the nice lady behind the counter gave me one :)

The first time I tried to get a goodie bag I was told it was only given out with a purchase so now I have about 6 boxes of paracetomols and no goodie bags !!! I always buy paracetomols as its one of the cheapest things to buy.

    Thank you Zippybungle!! :j

I haven't been on the board as much Welshy. My grandad passed away in November, and I'd just not really been in the posting mood, but I still lurk! ;)

Haven't actually been to Tesco since before Christmas, just not in the mood! I usually find it quite fun, but there's not a lot 'fun' about anything at the moment.

aha i see ur in croydon! if u can get to the thornton heath store they have a pile at the pharmacy counter - don't forget to ponder over the pledge so that the staff can ask you if u'd like to sign it and then hopefully they'll give u a goody bag without asking!! other people picked up the leaflet and didn't get a goody bag ;):)
I am indeed! I sent OH there the other day to get some bits and asked him to look and he was adamant there were none about! I bet he was just too embarassed to go searching! He's in for it now! :rotfl:

Tescos currently have a bogof offer on nivea shower gels.

    nivea shower oil £2.59
    nivea shower creme £2.48

i have purchased one of each product today, and till has deducted £2.59, and only charged for the shower creme at £2.48.

however, in the "quit smoking pack" available at tesco, there is a coupn for £1.25 0ff tolieteries, and a further coupon for £1.25 off beauty products, both of which will scan through on the same shop, giving a discount of £2.50 total on a £2.48 purchase.

(qiut packs by customer services, beauty isles, or pharmacy counter.

    xx

Just for info - both 1.25 coupons also work with the timotei shampoo. 1.65 bogof, bought 4 and paid 80p after the discounts.

Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
