Hi,
The law states that shops are not obliged to give a refund if you are returning an item, regardless of whether it is still in its packaging, unless it is faulty.
Simply changing your mind doesn't entitle you to a refund, although in practice most shops do offer refunds if the item is returned unused, because they know it is good customer service.
Therefore it really depends on the shop you got it from as to whether they will refund.0 -
Some places will exchange for another product even if they won't actually give a refund. All depends on company policy.0

I read on teletext yesterday that M & S are changing their refund policy after 50 years. They used to accept returns no matter when it was bought now they won't refund if it was bought more than 30 days before. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
