    It's completely finished.

    If she gets more than two months in arrears again, the lender will have to start the process afresh.

    You could help her to look at the reasons why she fell behind with the mortgage. The fact that her parents came up with a lump sum doesn't mean she can now afford her contractual amounts (particularly with the latest round of increases).

    Totally agree - we are going to sit down and work out a budget for her - although I think her Mum has got tight control of her money now. She needs to learn to do this for herself and not rely on her Mum.
