Won Garmin SAT nav

I think I entered this here, well it is the same prize.

I got notice of it last week, but wanted to wait till I got the prize before posting.
But I do have to admit, that I'm not 100% percent happy, because of all the news about thieves stealing them from cars, I don't mind them stealing the sat nav, (since it was free,) but I do mind what damage they would do to my car to get to it

Congratulations!! Great prize. I don't know if they're easy to take in and out of the car? I have a Garmin handheld one for geocaching, it's very good.

Yep, you can detach it, and it even comes with a leather pouch or storage.
I'm like a kid at a toy store, I just can't stop fiddling with it.

I might be the gadget freak, but my mom is the one with the car. I got her a mobile phone and she doesn't even bother to use it, so I'd doubt she would use this.

  • Hey congrats! This must be the first time someone has won something from a comp I posted :D

Just make sure you do not leave any of the mounts or the unit in the vehicle and you are just as safe as normal. If you are really safety conscious wipe the sucker marks from your windscreen to be sure.

It's a wonderful unit, I hope you enjoy it :)
