Satisfied accounts

Hi all i currently have 8 satisfied accounts on my equifax report ranging from 2005 to present how are these removed or are they 6 years;also do they affect my credit rating .they are satisfied cause i paid them off before i should off ie car finance paid off 3 years early etc etc no defaults

    Hi

    6years after they were settled (unless they were defaulted before they were settled in which case 6years from the default date).

    If they were satisfied on time, and if the visible payment history is good (usually the last 3years of activity before it was settled) then they will, if anything, help your credit rating.
