morrisons - spitfire ale

I'm just back from morrisons with 24 bottles of spitfire for £3. I picked up a pack of 8 with the shopping and noticed I only been charged £1 but thought they might have just scanned one bottle by mistake. I went back in and picked up a pack and self scanned it - I was charged £1 again so went back and got another. I'm not sure if it's a mistake or a secret deal but if you like real ale it's worth investigating.
