Extra income to get me out of my mess

Hi,
I am in a bit of a financial mess and I need to sort it out. I started a mortgage in August last year and all was fine for a couple of months but then I lost my job. I was luck enough to find an other one within a couple of days but it was only 30 hours a week on minimum wage and my partner is only on 16 hours a week so we have been eating into our overdraft. Then in April I lost that job so we used up all of the £2500 overdraft in the joint account, £250 overdraft in my personal account, £200 overdraft in my partners account and also £1200 on my credit card. I now have a job working as a collector for provident which provides just enough to cover the mortgage and bills but I need an extra income to pay off the overdrafts, they are costing me £1 each a day in interest.
Could someone please reccomend a good way of getting a second income. I need around £100 a week so the useual stuff like online surveys will not make me enough. I have placed a lot of items on ebay to sell.
Thanks in advance,
Ricky

Hi Ricky,
If you're good at writing or research, amongst other things, you should check out http://www.freelancer.com/
Or, take a look at http://www.fiverr.com/ - you can try to sell anything on there!
All the best,

I think the first thing you need to do is be able to et a budget based on you and your partner's current income. This is obviously worst case scenario but I'm sure there will be some things you can cut back on whilst looking for an extra income.
Easiest way to way some quick cash is matched betting but that requires some start up capital so I'm guessing that's off the table.
An extra £100 a week is a lot of money and you're unlikely to get this by doing simple things online.
Can your partner increase hours or get another job?
Do you have anything you can sell? Do you have a car each but could cope with one?
Hope you find something soon.0
