ASDA Baby Event ?

Asda Baby Event in full swing, grabbed a few bits for the bump...
Can't say they were ground breaking deals, but we were aiming to get below 10p per nappy, and got down to about 7.4p at one point (plus a record breaking 1.9 p per nappy for one box of Huggies!)
If grabbing Huggies nappies, I'd recommend getting the newborn boxes (£3) or free with coupons, taking some scissors and cutting out the £2 off vouchers on the inside then buying the nappies (£8 or 2 for £14 - £6 or 2 for £10 with the coupons in box)...--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0 -
We got the highchair, not sure if it's a good price or not. But was needed and stocked up on food for our hols in November

Has anyone found the mega boxes of activefit advertised at £10 on the mailing? my two local asdas havent even had a delivery of them. Really disappointed in asda. This was by far the best offer but nowhere to be seen. These events are getting worse everytime.

My mum managed to get me two boxes of 5+ in Colindale yesterday. She went in again today to get me the size 4's that I'm almost out of, but no mega boxes at all, despite them saying they have deliveries every morning (both days she went in at 10am). I'll be on the hunt on Friday!if i had known then what i know now0

I haven't seen them in Eastleigh or Totton (Southampton area) - Eastleigh said that as the event had only just started, they were still gettiing deliveries in so ring and they will check the shelves for you. Didn't have any facings on the shelves for them, so looks like no supplies at all, rather than they had sold out. (Normally they start out fullly stocked, rather than the other way around !). No shelf spacing in Totton either...:(

ASDA Fosse Park Leicester had loads of the boxes. Not on the baby isle but on the seasonal one where they put all the extra offers. They wouldn't let me use the £2 off Huggies Newborn off of the £3 box (grrr) shame as we really do use the nappies as my DD is very little for her ageMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
