Newspaper coupon summary - Thursday 28 December

Good Morning All,
Please post here if you get a Thursday paper or have the chance to look through one - tell us if there are any coupons in or not.

Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can. Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)

There is also the £1 off Inside out in the Times - which is scanning again in our Tesco - if you have back copies from this week it has appeared daily...don't remember the page nos but in the back rather than the front end of the paper.

self scan no - while the assistants are obliging I'll carry on putting them through the tills - though yesterday the 50p asda voucher that was scanning at 4.50 and that I have been using lately was at last altererd to the correct amount - shame......but its done well for my christmas shopping.

Page 48 of the Sun has 2 x 30p money off vouchers for Love it magazine valid until 1st January 2007 have previously scanned at Tescos with no probs

Bingo numbers - eyes down and off we go ..........

Page 47 of the Sun mentions a 2 for 1 wine offer in Saturday's Sun (no other details)

Both barcoded so lets hope so

The Mail coupon scanned fine in Tesco as did the Esquire £1.99 from the Times. Didn't get to try the other Times coupon cos my total had gone below £1
