BOOTS glitch L'Oreal Wrinkle Decrease Collagen Replumper Gift Set £27.56 now £1.89

Just a heads up....In my local Boots store today, they had these gifts sets reduced from £27.56 to a staggering £6.89 on their sales shelf BUT when it went through the till it came up at £1.89 showing a £5 offer discount. I went back to the sales shelf and picked up two more. Obviously no idea if these sets are on the reductions shelf nationwide however if they are, the glitch is that it is still taking in to account another offer hence the further £5 discount. The sale price doesn't appear online however I have added the link for reference just in case you happen across this set in your local Boots store. Good luck fellow MSErs!:T

P.S. I should mention that I did query the price with the sales assistant and he said either it has been marked down further in the sale or there is an existing offer with it, either way the staff have to go on what the till charges! So I nipped back and bought two more! I genuinely thought the CSA had made an error typing in the markdown price, which is why I checked with him. He's such a nice chap, always chatty and happy I would have hated for him to get in to trouble.

Damnit! It's a bit far for me to travel on the offchance of a deal with fuel prices as they are. I Hope I can get to a Boots before this ends! It's something I really want but can never afford!

I found some on the shelf, which said full price. Queried the price, and it came up as 22 quid ;(

    Same here, £22 odd....
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

Oh I'm so sorry, thought it was worth a mention especially if you just happen to be in Boots. Guess it was just my store with these on their sale shelf, shame! I hope nobody was put out too much. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Pretty sure this is what they had in the clearance section in Banbury yesterday - they had 2 I think, but at £6 something I put them back!! Clearance section in the corner of the baby section for anyone going there.

Noooooo...my guess is that it was probably them. Mine were marked at £6.89 each which I was happy to pay but at the till it went down to £1.89. They are about then, you just have to be lucky as to which store have them on the clearance shelf. :o

The one's for £22 odd were the same products, but had a different woman on them. My guess is, it's old stock.

Fab bargain if anyone finds them. None in Merry Hill today, if anyone was going to try tomorrow or the weekend.
