Capquest??? Debt Questions
Comments
-
But the chances of Crapquest taking court action are slim - that's not their style.
Just threats and more threats and maybe a statutory demand that they have no intention of following through.
To be honest, they have never bothered me! The only time was when I called them! They were very arsey and would not accomodate any settlement.
I recently went on the electoral roll so know all my debtors can now find me, I don't want people knocking at my door so better sort it.
I have 15-16K of debt without coming to any arrangement, so I hoping that we can work something out, I don't want to tie all my spare money up as I have a family and a spouse and well I refuse to put them second to debts.
Watch this space hopefully!0 -
Start making puny regular payments to show some goodwill, and try to come to a reduced arrangement (bear in mind you may still be able to reduce this further if you have a lump sum to offer in the future). Once you agree a figure, increase to reasonable payments (relating to your income and the total owed) and just keep going ignoring anything else they throw at you. This way, even if they did try to take you to court, they could look at your income/expenditure and simply point out that you're already paying a reasonable figure so bend over and take it.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0

I have five creditors, I am going to pay on them in full I owe 500 but they offered £200. Then the rest I was going to pay 10-20 a month. I was going to ask for a reduced amounts
I have a barclays loan, a year ago they offered a settlement figure of 3k....I refused! But might ring and ask if I could take it again and see if I could counter offer with 2k.
Argos I owe 1085....was going to offer £500 on a payment plan
o2 do not appear on my Cr but they are hassling me but I owe them 1200, think I will offer 500 on a payment plan
Capquest....I am not sure about this, default amount is 3300 but the amount due is 4100! Not sure what to offer them to be honest, thinking about £1000 but not sure of my chances.
Any input or advice?0
