CD wow cracking down

ive noticed on other money-saving forums that CD wow has directly asked the forum owner to stop its members posting links and voucher codes,bascially saying its fraud. today i used the burton link to get money off, and then a voucher making it about £5.50 for a cd. anyhow, a few hours later i got a email from cd-wow refunding all my money because...

"You have used more than one promotional code or voucher in this order. According to our Terms and Conditions, one Voucher or Promotional Discount per person per campaign is allowed, irrespective of the number of E Mail addresses, Card Holder addresses or Delivery Addresses the individual may posses.

Only one promotional discount per transaction is allowed.A discount link via a partner / affiliate network are not entitled to use any further voucher or promotional discounts.

CD WOW! maintain the right to refuse, and refund if relevant,(even following acceptance of an order) any transaction where, in its sole opinion, the customer / transacting party are fraudulently achieving multiple discounts.

We are a small company and our profit margins are very small, by allowing such orders to be completed our prices will inevitably be forced up."

That was good timing for me. I ordered a CD for my brother's birthday present a couple of weeks ago, using the Burtons link and the £2 voucher from the Loreal competition. Got Keane for £5.50.

Mind you, I haven't had my credit card bill yet but the amount on the confirmation email said £5.50 and there was no mention of only using one voucher/link at that time. Looks like we've been well and truly rumbled!

Oh well, still cheaper than buying from the shops. :-/

I recently made an order using both the burton and loreal vouchers and saved £3.50, i got this message back saying something about a balance? anyone any ideas , can they now legally charge me extra for this product?

Did you order more than 1 item?

'The balance of your order will follow shortly' just means it's not sent out all at once and the rest of your order will come later.

If you didn't order more than 1 thing......don't worry about the email, it's a standard one they send out. None of what you posted refers to the cost of the order.

Just to reassure you that it is a standard email......I got this from Cd-Wow too. It's likely the same as yours.
