Will experian show all debts?

Hello all
No sooner do I get my Dad's debts on the way to getting sorted but then I find out my brother is in the same mess! Having been fairly careful with my own money, I am a bit lost on all this tbh! But I have a few questions please?
After speaking to him last night, he has admitted, possibly for the first time, that he actually doesn't know how much debt he is actually in.
He took out a car and then stopped paying for it because he couldn't afford it so they re-possessed it? Does he still have to pay anything in this circumstance?
He has taken out payday loans - will these show on an experian check?
What is a DRO and how can I see if he would qualify?
I need to get him to talk to someone but at the minute, he is threatening suicide and I just don't know where to turn first to try and get him the help he needs.

Not all debts will necessarily appear on an Experian report.
Some lenders just don't report info to Experian. Debts that were defaulted more than 6 years ago would have dropped off their files, even if they were there at one point.
He would only qualify for a DRO if the debts are under £15,000 and they meet the disposable income and assets criteria.

I got my file from experian which shows 2 defaulted accounts... then I got it from equifax which shows the 2 plus 1 other. Stil waiting for Callcredit...
I think there are more but have just lost track of what is going on
I spoke to CCCS and they suggested I got reports from all 3 agencies to get a really clear picture of what is going on0 -
Encourage your brother to speak to one of the counsellors at National Debtline or Consumer Credit Counselling Service. They'll give him hope and will help him find the best solution.

There are loads of debts that do not appear on a credit file but must be listed in a DRO.
I suggested a few here:

There are probably others. And then, even some debts that you'd expect to appear, do not.
So you've really got to pick your brother's brains, and do loads of research.0 -
Thank you all. National debt line really helped my dad so I'll get him in touch with them.
