hi All
It's been a while since I've been on here due to no internet, but all up and running now!
Anyway, I am a SAHM and i have 4 children ages 8 to 12 months my husband works full time, i am seeking advice on how can i use the internet to make some extra money, we are on a very tight budget as you can imagine so i am looking to save money for xmas and holidays etc etc.
I have seen these sites claiming you can make £1000+ a month just by posting links, but I have read reviews warning to keep away, what about e bay, what sells well on there do you think?
I am willing to try anything so all advice would be greatly appreciated
thank you in advance!!
Sarah

Tom is right, there is a lot out there. Internet marketing is something I enjoy greatly but the rewards do not always come right away. I've tried many things, but I always come back to marketing. It has the ability to provide a passive income if you use the right system. However, for the last few weeks, in order to get some quick cash, I have been writing articles . It might be the sort of thing to do if you have spare time during the day, especially as you get paid by Paypal from as little as $10. That way you can try it out first. I say try it out because, though I am a writer myself, it is not the easiest of work to begin with. However, by doing a few articles a day you might be able to cover paying for food for a week, just depends on how fast or slow you are. I paid for my son's school trip, that's why I did it. BTW it does not cost anything to start, and that's the sort of work from home I like.
Anyway, if this is something you are interested in check here http://www.myams.net/Help-Writers.html
MODS: I hope it is OK to post this link, it isn't an affiliate link, but if I have erred let me know.
As for information on working from home, I'd be very careful about the sources you look at (I'm not casting dispersions on Tom) and always do your due diligence before committing to anything or paying any money. The fact is you don't know me or Tom from Adam so trust your judgement.0 -
You';ll not be eating much more than lentils all week if you expect those article payments to pay for your weekly shop - $2 for 300 words!! That's terrible. Most inexperienced writers will probably take a good hour to research and write a 300 word article. Anything less than half an hour and it's bound to be rubbish.
$2 per hour -hmm. But somebody is making a lot more than that from these articles. Think bigger and be that person further up.I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

I wouldn't do those ones for $2. In fact, i won't do any for less than $5. I didn't say it would make you rich but the OP wanted suggestions. There are people here doing surveys and all sorts of other things that pay equally as poorly but they cost nothing to start doing and are a way of earning something. As for articles, when you first start out it does take a while to get used to the writing process, even for an experienced writer.
That's why I suggest internet marketing, but you have to be prepared to do a lot of the ground work without seeing any money for a while and not many people wish to do that, especially as there are no guarantees. The money isn't great but hey, we all have to start somewhere. I made some money writing articles and that allows me to go onto other things.
Perhaps you could actually try and come up with a suggestion for the OP rather than rubbish the suggestions of others?0 -
BTW mizzbiz is spot on about thinking higher up. The real money is made not from doing the grunt work, but from having others do it for you.0

If you have a skill then try elance or guru, where you can apply for freelance jobs posted by employers.0

Wow...even that post got deleted?! Blimey, the moderators crack the whip around here...
Anyway, on that previous post I think I recommended you check out http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/. Please note that I have NO affiliation with that blog, so you don't need to delete this post!I am developing a community of likeminded people with a common goal - to build sustainable and scalable online incomes.0 -
Making money online is a very rare thing, especially if you have to ask how to do it. Those that make a lot (or even a little) money online either have skills that are in demand, or know about something that not many people know about. I was making over £100 a week from BitCoins (Google them) but that seems to have popped now.
The only working that you're going to find is going to be the kind of work that isn't really worth the effort.0 -
Another site which is all the rage at the moment is fiverr.com, which allows you to buy and sell micro jobs to enhance your online business and a great way to earn additional income in doing jobs in which you're good at. You get paid $4 per task and it's important only to do jobs in which you can complete within half an hour or you'll be working under the minimum wage and become a busy fool!
