Full size nutrition drink sample offer back on 09/09

I got an email from them offering me £10 off my first order online, and the website seems to be up and running for sales now. I got two full sized samples with no problem and the product can also be obtained from Waitrose and Ocada, unfortunately there isn't one in my area. I personally think they have deliberately overpriced the product and are then offering discounts so people think they have got a better deal. If Waitrose are stocking it then I doubt its a scam. Bear in mind the recommended retail price for the product is £1.52 and it doubtless costs only a fraction of this to make - and they are giving far larger discounts for buying online than they are from Waitrose, understandably as they will get the full amount on their own sales so can afford to make a big discount. As for the cashback, I'm sure any company knows that only a minority of customers will actually bother to collect and send off all the stuff they need to get it. I'm more interested in the instant £10 discount as I can get 12 bottles for £9.99 (after discount) including postage, that sounds fair enough to me and if I get the £10 cashback as well then that gives me a similar discount off my next order.

I've just got a reply back from a further email I sent:

It is our form of advertising to increase our customers and actually is a lot cheaper than spending thousands on a national ad campaign

Big Shotz has a genuinely different business model and as well as making a genuinely innovative and unique drink believes in building up a Big Shotz community and sharing all the benefits with them

So rather than spending £ thousands with West End ad agencies on magazine and poster campaigns we would rather incentives our community to join and spread the word

A little punctuation in that would have been nice, but the offer seems justified. I'll certainly buy 1 tomorrow and see if I like it.
