Foxy Communications advertising for homeworkers

Options
I've just seen this on out local Jobcentre site, link to foxy site
http://www.foxycomms.com/

There are old threads on here if anyone wants to know what they're like to work for etc or any other questions, I know nothing about them at all. Unfortunately I don't have experience & they say you need outbound call experience.
It may be of use to some people on here.

  • I've read good and bad points on previous threads, but never a bad thread from someone who has actually worked for the company. What was your experience with them Monostich?

  • I'm thinking of starting with them. Passed the initial 'screening' call and need to sign up for the training. I've dugg around for as much info as poss and have seen mixed reports. Has anyone worked for them in the past few months who can give me up-to-date info, good or bad??:j
  • I havent worked for them but passed the intial sign up then went on a web seminar where i started asking some questions about payment etc.....never heard from them again!! dont think they liked me cos i wanted to know excatly what was what xx
  • I have had the FoxyComms webex interview and I am due to start working for them after my induction this Monday. I have read various posts about the company but have noticed that everyone who says they are going to give the company a go, never come back and leave any feedback afterwards?

My concern is not about what the job is doing - I can cope with the whole cold calling stuff - my concern is will I be paid and will this be in good timing?

Any constructive feedback would be appreciated?
  • i have just had one of these interview webex things, there was no individual interview rate of pay is £6.10 - £9 the latter is the bonus have to do 80 hours in a month to get bonus. i selected 9 - 5 shift there is a 9?15 to 2:15 and 11 to 6pm shift you can do more hours if you want but they require you complete the shift you have to do min of 6.2 surveys an hour, if you u do less than 4 they put u on training. it is self employed and you have to send off the appropriate forms. i have my training day next week you have to do 15 hours of LIVE calls first as a trial before you get paid.

i dont know anything more beyond this i am surprised to not see anyone on this or any other thread say they used them or had any problems once working for them?

i am not sure if i shall be continuing as it seams too easy.

  • Yes I've worked for them before.

First things first. They are CONSTANTLY hiring, which is never a good sign. And they'll recruit absolutely anyone too. In my group "interview", there were, how can I be PC about this; ALL walks of life. And it's not really an interview, they just train you there and then and expect you to give it a go THAT VERY minute.

Basically, you are logged into a dialler which cold calls residents throughout the UK and you ask them questions i.e. Do you currently have life insurance? Do you subscribe to Sky TV? etc etc

I hated it but to each his own. I did 2 shifts and packed it in. You have to be asking a certain amount of surveys too otherwise they get rid of you, which made me feel like I was under immense pressure which is why I packed it in.

If you LOVE cold calling and are very good at telesales, then you'll love this job.

    It's self employed too.
