:rotfl: does this normally work for you then?? "Now kids this is mummy's small things list. If you want to go to uni when you're older you need to behave so that mummy can do everything on her list" I may try that one with my 3yo! :rotfl:

I tell them mammy has a few jobs to do and after I have done a few we do something fun unfortunately my wee girl was not going to help or allow me to do anything  ended up with a splitting headache from all the paddys my 3 yo was really helpful although did water me at same time as doing the garden :rotfl:
Thankfully nursery for them both today. :j

Happy Humpday one and all :)
You guys really do brighten my day. I'm determined to be in a good mood despite wanting to grumble. I've put my headphones in so i don't have to listen to anyone in the office and I'm just plodding through my to do lists. I'm off to London for the next 2 days for work and work social, but I may not be around till next week or possibly the weekend.

    Today I have/will:
-bussed in and home using my bus pass
    -check bank
    -check one poll/pigsback etc
    -all searches through swagbucks
    -click on affiliate link
-LSD (just got my OH some ww crisps from £land and milk)
-bought lunch and snacks with me
-drinking coffee and water from the kitchen and diet coke from my stash

I think that is everything for me today, I hope the rest of theday goes quickly, can't wait to get home and veg, we're rewatching Harry Potter 7 Pt 1 in preparation for Friday night! Though I also need to pack and I wanted to do some jewellery making, but I might put that off till the weekend. I'm so excited. My OH and are celebrating 8 years of being together this weekend :D

    Morning:j
Thanks for starting us off so early:D Could we keep the initial 'When we start out on the DFW trail...' paragraph in a bright colour though...I just think it makes it stand out for new posters, shows what our lovely thread is about;) Thank you!

Ok, late list for me - rushed off to work for the morning...home now.
    List for today:
    • check banking
    • check onepoll - one 10p so far today
    • lunch from stores at home - took roll out of freezer to defrost this morn (I dont often remember so rolls/bread usually languish in my freezer for ever:o)
    • Visit college for a tutorial - and HAND IN ESSAY:T
    • cut front and back grass
    • empty goldfish tank - I bought a new tank and the bugg*r died:rotfl:
    • return overdue library book...oops:o
    • meal from plan tonight - Nigella chicken that I made last night (had to use the chicken...nice to know it's made ready for tonight now)
    • hoover through downstairs
    • washing on quickwash and on the line in the sun
    • Do P*cone survey
    • Visit T's armed with my list - and not buy too much stuff thats not on it:p
    • Watch the Apprentice then bed:D
Ok, that'll do me - have a lovely afternoon:)
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Hello :hello:

    Here's me:
    • Brekkie at home
    • HM lunch; wash lunch box at work
    • Dinner in SC, just need to make roasties to go with it - will boil/micro them first rather than have oven on for longer, even though I've no idea if that is much cheaper but I do know my flat is a lot cooler when I don't use the oven for as long :p
    • Pennies in the jar
    • TV night with some Apprentice
    • WM on quick wash
    • Lurking the flylady thread for some inspiration…
    • Post pal's bday pressie - think I can get away with it 2nd class - bday is tomorrow but think she's not at the address I'm sending it to until the weekend - she's living with a friend waiting for her house sale to go through and she's visiting her parents this weekend so sending it there.
    • Got excited that OH might be getting his contract through on Monday :j Think he's starting his new job in about 3 weeks, just after we get back from holiday - perfect timing really :j
Hiya Pip  Hope you had a lovely holiday! I had a wee nosey at your fab photos on FB ;) I love reading your blog posts btw so I reckon Island Living would not be boring at all! We decided on our Scotland road trip this year - decided not to island hop though as it gets a bit too 'spensive with the car. We're going to head to Cowal down and round Loch Fyne and then round to Dunoon. Not too far away from 'home' (ie not to expensive in petrol from parents house - we're up there for a wedding anyway) but hopefully far enough away that we'll feel like we've had a proper break.
