Bird Boxes etc...

Hiya,

I am new to this forum and am looking to make a few extra quid.

I used to be a joiner and still dodge about doing small jobs around the house. I have hit upon an idea of making small bird boxes, bat boxes rabbit hutches etc... that I would hope to sell on for a small profit.

Anyone got any ideas where the best place would be to sell these type of things?

I was also wondering if it would be worthwhile contacting local pet shops and asking if they sell such items?

Any help/suggestions would be great.

There is a florist local to me who always has some large bird houses/feeding tables outside, you could also try some of the small nurseries or garden centres as usually people who like their garden are often keen to get wildlife to visit.

Once you get going why not consider adding cameras into boxes, they may be popular.
