winter and central heating always makes my skin go drier than usual.
can anyone recommend a room humidifier, preferably a portable one? There are a few on amazon, but i could find very little feedback about them anywhere on the net.

I tried a room humidifer, and all I ended up with was a house full of condensation. I deceided to get those ceramic humidifiers which you fill with water and hang over the radiators. Does the trick ok. You'll probs find em on ebay.0

Thanx... I've never seen those, sounds perfect though as the problems start when the heating comes on0

I had this humidifier at first, but it works like a kettle and just creates an un-nescessary amount of steam

So, I bought a few of these (you can get different designs without the perfume oils), and popped them over radiators around the home. All you do is keep them topped up with water every couple of days.

Hope you find some cheapish and your happy with them. Nothing is ideal other than keep the heating off, but they do help.0
