I have signed up many times with lovefilm with the same email address or a slight variation. When I put through this offer, it asked if I had been a previous customer to which I clicked that I had and then there was a list of all the many times I had been a member and I just reactivated a previous one. I have checked the account and it has gone through fine and they have dispatched my first dvds today.

I have been a lovefilm customer in the past so I just tried with the same email address and it said welcome back but wanted a reactivation code for a free trial - LFSS9876XX never worked.
Tried another email address at my home address and got:
We're very sorry but we're unable to offer you a free trial!

According to our records you have already taken advantage of a free trial on one of our services.
We can offer you a paying service for only £14.99 a month, but without any free trial.

I wonder why you got a different message.

I tried reactivating but got message that it was not an reactivation code.
signed up as new user with new email and went through fine.

Just noticed my code is different to the ones posted here.
Are codes unique or limited to a number of uses maybe?

I tried again using the OP code as reactivation and my original account is back up and running. Went through Quidco to see if it worked obviously - will keep you updated.

Would anyone mind answering if this is one DVD at a time, but unlimited rentals per month, or is it another service.

I was thinking of going with Lovefilm because of the games, even though they barely have any decent ones.

2 at a time games or DVD's, unlimited - however you can chose a package without games. For the trial, it makes no difference, but should you continue the cost varies. If you change your package through the trial, it ceases and you start paying.

I cancelled my subscription in February this year and just googled for love film reactivation code. I tried LFSS9876XX, didn't work , tried LFZZ98762 - worked like a charm. I've now got 3 months off.

LFZZ98762 just worked great for me being a previous lovefilm customer too. No charge until July whoopee! thanks for that code whist
