Have my big scan in hospital tmrw morning at 23 weeks. Nervous but excited! Just wondering am I given the MAB certificate tmrw which I then have to give to my employer? If no one offers it, should I ask?

The big (anomoly) scan is usually at 20 weeks and then you get the MAT1B form at your 24 week midwife appointment. No harm in asking though, can't remember if they give the form out before 24 weeks. All the best for your scan, enjoy! I only have 10.5 weeks to go!

This is the time I've been called for my big scan. I'll be 23 weeks the following day. Then have an apptment with my own community midwife on 25th July . Is this when I am to get it instead?

your community midwife gives the Mat b1 certificate. The 20 week anomoly scan is carried out by a radiographer and most times you dont even see a doctor or midwife that day
