sainsburys small glitch multi purpose compost

in It's gone, but was it any good?

just been to sainsburys and they have j arthur bowers 20l bag of multi purpose compost half price from £5.99 to £2.49 but its scanning at £1.49, (so we went back and got some more):)

    Just a quick heads up, B&M have got 40ltr bags for £1.99 and it's great stuff. Topped off my raised beds yesterday with 3 bags.

    This is still a great offer though!!!

    They have got it all wrong because if it was £5.99 then down to half price it would be £2.99 and not £2.49


    Seems they really messed up on this one !

    Bought the same stuff - J Arthur Bower's - TODAY at MAKRO

    ONE HUNDRED litres for £5.99 + vat (that's £7.19)

    Best thing still - IT'S ON BOGOF !!!!

    200 litres for £7.19 :rotfl:

    TBH don't think that's a glitch as my local had the 50l bags of Arthur bowers for £2.49, half price. This was the labled price, your store must have just mislabelled the 20l bags as £1.49 would make sense.

    I havent been had, I didnt buy any??
    I just pointed that in the OP it says £5.99 and then half price being £2.49 which is incorrect as it should be £2.99
