If your planning to use the xbox online you are better opting for the premuim version as the price difference between the 2 machines is about £60 and with the premium you get the 20gb harddrive, headset.
If you dont plan to do any online gaming the core version will be fine but you will need to purchase a storage device, either a memory card which are around £20 or a 20gb harddrive for about £600
