I am writing to tell you about the best thing we have ever bought.
I wanted a hot tub for xmas , I was gonna rent one for about £220 a week, then I went on ebay to see how much one would cost, thought maybe £1200 to £2000, anyway I saw a Bestway lay-z-spa on Ebay some traders are selling for about £330 on "buy it now" plus £30 delivery so thats £360 however we had a bid and got one for £225 with £30 dleivery so it cost £255 delivered.
Before I bid i looked around for some google web reviews and found about 10 or so independent buyers reviews, they were all amazingly positive reviews so I went ahead and bid on it and won it, I was a bit concerned cos at first glace it looks like a kiddies inflatable paddling pool, how VERY WRONG I would have been to dismiss it on that basis. I was also concerned maybe it would be a little tight for 4 adults, but actually is roomy and we are all 6 footers!
The item came by courier and took about 10 minutes to inflate and connect up, it comes with a very clever "POD" with its own safety RCD, the POD is a heater & filter and an air bubble blower, the air blower inflates the tub, then gets connected to supply the jacuzzi with bubbles, it has an electronic control panel you can set the heater up to 104f and turn the bubbles on or off, this has a 30 minute auto cut off, they said to fill it with cold water and let it heat over 24 hours, I Coulnt wait so I connected to our kitchen mixer tap and filled it with very warm water straight from our combi, it took about 40 mins and was ready to go.
Anyway we didnt know if we could actually get a 100% genuine hot tub for peanuts that would actually be any good , well i am posting to tell you that its blimmin FANTASTIC!
One of the reviews said "as good as any 2 grand tub" I thought naaa , I was wrong cos it definately is.
We are using it every day now, we have shoved our garden gazebo over it and have some low voltage lights hung off it, I am just getting used to keeping the water healthy with chlorine etc.
The reviews and pictures I found were on this site, they sell it for abot £400 but look an ebay too.

Critisisms, well pretty much none really , the air blower sounds like a vacuum is on and is a little on the noisy side maybe, but i really am picking flies mentioning this.
So this is my post, I got a 100% pucker hot tub for £225, can anyone beat that ?, if not then buy or bid on one for yourself.
happy new year
