  • Hi Jake,

I have had the Saitek Eclipse Keyboard (the silver version) for almost a year now and it has been great. Ideal for every day use and its also good if you like pc gaming. Very cool design too. £22.27 sounds like a bargain, I bought mine for around £35ish.

    Hope this helps :)

Got this for son for Xmas was about £27 from Amazon, nice item, it's not often these days a product bought by a parent for a teenager is 'cool'. That was the best price I could find pre-Xmas.
  • Thanks buglawton and welcome & thanks justsarah!

If it's not obvious to anyone reading this thread, the Saitec is a keyboard with backlighting of the keys and illuminated etching on them, select from 3 colours & adjust the brightness. Ideal for gaming in a darkened bedroom!

Was mentioned in the Daily Telegraph before Xmas.

BTW has anyone tried booting up in Safe Mode with the Saitec keyboard? We can't use the keyboard till Windows has properly booted up so can't move the cursor to the start in Safe Mode option...

Sorry but that is incorrect. The version you are getting through the link is the blue one. The red one is £1 more and the multi-colour one is £7 more.
Brightness can be adjusted on all models.

    Just so you know!

OK, the one I got from Amazon

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000ISU0I6/026-7517910-2072405

was the Eclipse II £29.99 free P&P. Presumably the 'II' means the 3 colour spec.
