Credit Score changed!

I know I know, credit scores don't really mean much according to other posters...BUT it's how I am measuring the improvement in my credit management (I am really sad! :D)

I started off with a very shocking credit score of 446...which dropped to 422 within a day because of a search!) Anywho....I checked my report today and it's have gone up to 471! I was soooo pleased!

Capital one now appears on there, (never realised that CC report different aspects of the lending before) showing a £0 balance...I have been using it and paying it right away...but now I am waiting until the bill comes through before paying anymore..(I only have £70 on it) My next balance is £46 on my CR...despite me clearing it completely a week or so ago!

Either way .....hopefully when I go on the Electoral roll next month I will be 'Poor' and not 'Very Poor.'

Woohhooo.....so excited

(Thinks to myself....I should get out more!)
29th June -Beginning Credit Score 422 :( £2575
12th July - Credit score 471 :p
22nd August - Credit Score 550 :p Still very poor just but only just!
Remaining to pay off: £1370.95

    Hi Darnit,

As you've said yourself, credit scores don't really mean much. What is more important in improving your credit rating is continuing to pay off the balance of the capital one card each month over a period of time (minimum of 6 months) and getting onto the electoral role. This will make you a more attractive proposition to lenders irrespective of the credit score.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!
