Wanted: MacBook, MacBook Pro...

After neglecting to take advantage of PC World's generous reductions in Novembertime, I am on the hunt to spend a whole lot less for one of each.

Can anybody help? Offer any advice? Think I should wait until March when they'll be cheapened off again?

It would cost as much to buy a MacBook Pro in this country as it would for me and the husband to fly to Toronto, buy one there and have a four day holiday. (Will post details if there's anyone who fancies this idea!)

Thanks...

  • Hmph.

Have just read some other threads on the site and have come to the conclusion that a trip to Canada might be just the ticket.

Consider me educated as to the ways and means of Apple!
  • May be worth going direct to Apple.com as I think they currently have refurbed stock. When I have bought all my mac systems I have done it this way. It comes with the same guarantee/warranty as a new system and I have had absolutely no problem with them. Think the MacBook is on there for about £550 atm
