Best place to sell lead flashing?

I found a roll of unused lead flashing in our shed which must have been there lurking in a dark corner for 8 years or so as it's got 28.1.02 written on it. It says on it that it's 3 metres long, 240mm wide, is code 4 and weighs 15kg. We're not going to use it now.
Is there a market for this? I have no idea how much it would sell for or where the best place is to advertise it.
Any advice would be appreciated as I know nothing about selling lead flashing, except that I think it's the stuff that people steal all the time! This roll is 100% legit and still in its original, sealed, wrapping.
Thanks.

I should think there is a market for it, I've worked for a well known DIY chain fort 4 weeks and have had two people ask me for it. Unfortunately we don't stock it, so I can't say what it is worth.
However, in your position I would reverse the process. Instead of trying to find out how much you can sell it for, pretend you want to buy it and search the internet for it, and you will find how much it sells for.0 -
Your local scrap metal merchant will take it for cash. Look up in yellow pages.I Believe in saving money!!!:T
A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!0 -
lead value is £800 per tonne from junes prices
call a few scrap merchants to see what they are offering0 -
At £800 per metric tonne, 15 kg would be worth about £12.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

youd get more than that selling it for what it is on ebay/gumtree to be honest rather than a scrap merchant, as it is new in packaging
having a look online 13kg packs go for about £50 new0 -
Phone a couple of roofers and tell them you're about to stick it on ebay for £X and do they want to make you an offer instead.0
