Got one (which looked like a returned item) and returned: it is very dim, hardly make a difference at all when turned on.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0

Personally I wouldn't bother with these. Firstly it is a no name brand and secondly 4AA batteries for the front light!! That is very heavy and the light will be very bulky - but for £4 they might be OK if you really are skint and to make you legal.
I have a set of these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=42475
Very light - The front light is 10cm long and 3cm all the way round so easy to slip in your pocket. It is very bright and the flashing modes are great. They are rainproof and also the batteries last for ages.
Yes - they are 3X as much - you pays your money and takes your choice!0 -

Not sure if I would pay £20 for them, they feel a bit pound shop plastic quality, LOL. However, it includes batteries whihch is a bit of a rarity.
You can actually get lights in the pound shop!!0 -

Without wishing to be sexist, all of the 1* posters appear to be female, unless the Lady from Kent is a cross dresser.
There may well be a communication issue with the instructions as a high percentage of buyers will be mums.:)0 -

Regarding the 'flashing mode' while cycling,i've read that its against traffic laws to use this mode, unless in a stationary position. Anyone know for sure?0 -
