Make a faux "T-bag" and put the email confirmation inside?

Wrap the confirmation in a "T" shape?

Design and print of a "This entitles the bearer ... " style certificate with the date/venue/event written on it?

Give a small houseplant, with the confirmation given tucked into a "plant pokey"?

Print a faux "park and ride" ticket but substitute the venue times/dates on it?

Draw out the suspense by turning it into a "treasure hunt" theme: so, the first clue leads to another clue given on say January 25th (near to Burns Night), the next clue given on 25 Feb (11 days after Valentines); 25 March (few days after Spring Equinox/Easter) etc, so the very last clue is given on June 25 - few days after Equinox - (which is two weeks away - approx - from the final date, reveals the true "gift")?

Wrap the confirmation letter in a "Star" shape (Wish upon a star theme) Or, a "dream cloud" shape. (Dream ticket!)

You can purchase "jigsaw" notecards: you could write the "invitation" on the card, mix up the jigsaw and let the recipient piece it together (normally about 12-20 pieces, so very short lived).

Print off a t-shirt transfer so that the "transfer" is designed as a "pass ticket" for the event. Thus the T-shirt is the tangible gift and the wearer has all the details of the event on it and gets t wear it and show off their good fortune for 6 months before hand ;)

Sorry, that's all I can think off from the top of my head :o

Have you thought about an exploding box?
Some examples of them are on my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/57115335@N02/

They're quite straight forward to make and can be really effective and obviously can be kept as a keepsake box afterwards.
  • Right folks , looking for another bit of help if possible.
Decided I'm going to do it with home made crackers
    I've made 5 of them.
No 1 is going to have a miniature umbrella inside ( because of the typical bad weather we normally get here in Scotland at gigs like this)
No 2 is going to have a mini deck chair in it
No 3 a miniature pint of beer
No 4 is going to have a miniature pair of sunglasses
And no 5 the confirmation from ticket master wrapped in the t in the park logo with a mini pair of wellie boots inside
    Does this sound ok??
Any ideas for some funny words for a bit of card for inside each cracker as to what the pint of beer might mean, the deck chair etc.
Just thought it might be a bit of fun to get them guessing
