council tax reduction for students

does anyone know if u can get a reductiona as my daughtre is 20 in aug and going to uni but living at home so would we get a 25% reduction?
Mum 30k/29000
BC1 11500/11300

    As RAS said, you wont be eligible. The 25% reduction is essentially a single person discount. That is, if there is one non-student living in a house with students, they are the only person liable for council tax are entitled to the discount, but if there is more than one non-student, full council tax applies. If there is just you and her, you should already have the 25% discount.
