Payment Protection Insurance

I was made redundant a couple of months ago and managed to get the mortgage insurance to cover the mortgage until I find another job. My ex girlfriend and I are thinking of getting back together, we were together for ten years and split just over a year ago, she would like to move back in but I am worried that this will mean she is responsible for the mortgage payments. The mortgage is in my name only and she is worried that she will be made to pay the mortgage if the mortgage protection people find out she has moved in. She can help out with bills etc but can't afford to do that and pay the monthly mortgage payments. My question is this, will my girlfriend moving in have any effect on the mortgage being paid by the payment protection scheme I am in?
Thanks
