Anyone have any idea what are the ingredients of that pink coloured "Chinese" coating that supermarkets use on both fresh chicken and legs, thighs etc that they sell ready cooked and hot?
It's not a breading, seems to be some kind of spice. I tried it with paprika and it doesn't taste remotely like it.
Thanks
