i have been using brita filter jugs since i left home (always seem to live in places with very hard water) and i always buy filters in bulk whenever i see them... i don't usually have to buy them more than once a year as i always find them cheap somewhere
the jugs do deteriorate after a few years, so this is a great price as a replacement jug...
the thing with water filters is that of course you have to buy more filters after a while, that's the whole point, otherwise they don't work as they're full of the stuff they've filtered out.....
but i've never paid £14.99, you can shop around after all in good mse fashion, don't pay the first price you see, wait until you can get a bargain...
