:AHello,
I get that it is best to get everything in writing instead of being on the phone, but I am always told you should send a letter... this is probably a bit of a simpleton question, but.. Is it ok to send emails to DCA's? Or isnt it as concerete at a letter
Thank you

Email is a valid route of correspondance, however, the creditor may not be able to discuss accounts in this manner, they may spin the line of confidentiality, my advice....email...but post a copy of the same letter! They can't argue then!29th June -Beginning Credit Score 422

Hi Fabulouso and welcome to the forum,
Due to the data protection act, they may be unable to send some information via email. You should therefore do what darnit has suggested and post the same letter via recorded delivery. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Can I just add that while it may be considered a valid form of communication, and while we'd all like to think our creditors are above it - email is very easy to change dates/general content on and I, personally, would always choose to send communication via the written word with photocopies for my own personal records..."I once grumbled at having no boots - until I met a man with no feet" Anon
