I bought a blender a few months ago from Aldi, and have only used it a few times. However, I used it today to blend soup, and the glass jar exploded while I was using it. I think it was about £15.99, but don't have the receipt -- is there any point taking it back, or should I just bin it ?

I would say it is definitely worth a try. A friend of mine bought a freeview box from them that went wrong and she didn't have the receipt. She went in (all apologetic) and said she didn't have a receipt, is there anything she can do blah blah , and they just said sorry, they don't have any on stock to exchange it with, so gave her her money back for it. May not be as easy for everyone, but never hurts to ask.0

I had a Sat Nav that wend down after about 9 months. I could not find the receipt, but I found the transaction on my debit card.
I took it back, the manager recognised me as a 'regular shopper', which i guess i am, refunded me there and then, no issues, hassles or need of my bank statement.
Thank goodness I didn't buy it from Lidl - they are AWFUL for refunds, thats why I gave up shopping there.
Anyay - its worth a try as the staff are normally helpful & friendly.I am NOT a Woman! - its Overland Landy (as in A Landrover that travels Overland)
Better to be approximately right than precisely wrong.0
