At Home Training/ Courses

Hi All
I'm currently in receipt of ESA (unemployed due to illness), I am however wanting to know whether I can do any sort of training/ courses from home that don't cost anything to do.
I'd like to show potential employers in the future that although I've been out of work for a couple of years I've not been sitting on my laurels and more importantly I'd like to spend my time doing something to better myself.
It is important that this training/course can be done almost entirely at home.
Thanks In Advance for any help.

If it wasn't for the mistakes I made in the past (and learned from), I wouldn't be who and where I am today. It doesn't matter if you've cocked up, what matters is that you put it right and apologise. x

Contact your local Next Step office they have excellent advice on training & careers. Also try local FE College as many offer distance learning and their student support team will be able to talk about funding etc. Many online free training for IT sites as well, just google for it.0

Try learndirect, im doing ecdl plus 2 others and its been ok so far and are free to do. It depends what you want to do though but see next step advisor and they should be able to help.0

You could also look into Union learn. Was previously only for Union Reps, members & their families but some courses are available to general public.0
